The Road to Innovation Podcast, Episode 10: Poverty+Crisis =Homelessness
Thousands of people are homeless in Dallas with many of them needing basic essentials to get the jump start they need for a better life. On this episode of The Road To Innovation, our guest Daniel Roby, CEO of Austin Street Center addresses the epidemic and shares about the people they help. And how they go from homelessness to independence.
Roby shares a beautiful quote by Mother Teresa:
"We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty. We must start in our own homes to remedy this kind of poverty." - Mother Teresa
